Isla Reta It Is

The first time I went here was not good, the experience was bad. You might want to read it here. But the whole team decided to have a team building on Tuesday there in Isla Reta. Yeah, after of so many discussions on where to go, last week we finally come up to a decision that we will have our team building in Isla Reta. I hope though that they will turn around my experience so I can still look forward to be here again.

So the team is ready, I will tag along my niece with me on Tuesday. I already brought Mj and Faith before now it’s my niece turn besides Mj and Faith has school and practice that day and we will spend overnight in the resort. Our supervisor said that there will be games and prices and the speech. Yeah, he will be assigned to another team, I hope not though I am still crossing my finger to it that he will not be assigned to another team. But if he will, we will miss him for sure, his coaches, his inspiring words that we can and the determinations and the hopes that he planted to us. Yet, we have to embrace the changes, we have to adapt whatever comes along our way, I know it is for us. The whole team will still be strong because of the wisdom that he left for us.

I Can’t Wait For Super Moon Tonight

When I went out from the house this dawn at 2 in the morning, I thought the one I saw is the Super Moon but I just found out that it’s not. According to Facebook the Super Moon can be sighted tonight. We must grab this rare opportunity because the next Super Moon can be seen again for another 18 years. Thus, if you want to witness how bright and how big this Super Moon is, you must not slip this chance away. And I can’t wait to witness for Super Moon tonight, I am a moon lover, I find the moon very amazing and stunning, I know that they are mostly comes in the same size and the same image but I always find myself taking a picture of it.

So why the NASA did named the Moon tonight the Super Moon?

It is because it would be extra big and extra bright. This Super Moon is the closest full moon to earth and this was last seen on 1948.

According to NASA:

The moon’s orbit around the Earth is slightly elliptical, so sometimes the moon is closer and sometimes it’s farther away. When the moon is full as it makes its closest pass to Earth it is known as a supermoon. At perigree—the point at which the moon is closest to Earth—the moon can be as much as 14 percent closer to Earth than at apogee, when the moon is farthest from our planet. The full moon appears that much larger in diameter and 30 percent brighter. The biggest and brightest moon for observers in the United States will be on Monday morning just before dawn.

Witness this very rare event, remember you won’t see another Super Moon until 2034.

You Will Soon Forget Them

I’d been too busy lately, I don’t even have time to get enough sleep. Good thing that the kids had their school break on October 26 so I don’t have to go to school to fetch them up after I went home from work. But a week is not enough for me to get things clear. I am always busy with work online and offline, running around to pay bills, buy grocery for the house and all that stuff.

Yesterday we went to the cemetery to pay my father a visit. When we were approaching the grave, my niece just blurted.

If you are dead even how close you are to the one who died, you eventually will forget them. We can only even visit them once a year.

What she said is true, we may eventually will forget them but I believe they are always in our hearts. Life has to go on no matter what, it will be hard at first but sooner or later you will get used to it that they no are no longer around. We just have to learn how to accept and let go because if you will not let go how will you survive?

There are people who would love to visit their love ones in the cemetery every month, some won’t at all. But us, we always make sure that we will gather on my father’s grave on November 2. It has been a tradition, but this time we went there at 8 in the morning because it would always rain in the afternoon. It has been days that its raining later in the afternoon.

It was a well spent rest day because I was able to visit my Dad on his grave and I get to share laughter with my kids, nieces, and sister. It was indeed worth it.
