Big Pool At D Leonor

So we took their mini cab for us to get to the big pool. I really thought that Faith could not enjoy it there but thank GOD that the pool is not too deep and beside the big pool, there was actually a kiddie pool too. On the 2nd thought the big pool also have a shallow part.  What we enjoyed there  is the slide, it is long and its round but not that long as Blue Jazz had.

I also like the bucket on the top that when it is full, it will pour so hard on the slide going to the pool. Faith would always exclaimed. “Extreme!”

We definitely got wet but we had so much fun!

We did not spend out there for long, it was almost 5 in the afternoon at that time and we don’t have planned to stay out late. Faith was disappointed since she really like to stay for hours there, but I promised her she can get some carousel rides she agreed with me, only to find out that the rides there were busted.

Till next post.

We Will Be Visiting Magallanes Condominium Tomorrow

Mj’s school Principal picked to represent the school for swimming this coming DAPRISA. It is a competition for private school in their unit. Mj was hesitated at first because she doesn’t want to go back to swimming anymore. And she wanted to explore another sports but I guess she could not avoid swimming since this is what she was trained for. So she said yes to her school principal.

Tomorrow she will start her training again with the school coach. I decided not to go back to our old swimming club since we really won’t go back to swimming. The training is only a preparation for the DAPRISA competition. She will have training in Magallanes Condominium since her coach has some classes there. It is a one on one training, since she is the only who will join the swimming competition. I hope everything will go smoothly. I haven’t visited this condominium before, I will surely take some pictures for sure. I am looking forward for a nice view and relaxing ambiance when we get there after Kumon tomorrow. I can’t wait!

The Outreach Program

Not only is the state of the economy causing us to tighten our belts and watch our money more closely. Schools and local governments are forced to cut back on services and community programs that place and emphasis on arts and humanitarian projects. More and more these programs depend on private donations from individuals and industry to survive.

How do communities and schools bridge this gap in funding? One way is through a community outreach program. Talented volunteers are needed to support such programs. By hosting this type of program and seeking donations, the gap in funding can be made up.

It is important for us to support the arts. My kids enjoy singing and dancing, though my smallest is like her dad and can’t dance very well. These programs are often the first victims of budget cuts. Supporting outreach musical or theatrical programs, helps our kids develop social skills and can teach them to interact with others

I think it would be fun to help out with a community outreach program and to involve my family. It shows our support for our community and our support for friends and family. We all need to work together to keep these types of programs in our areas.
