Big Pool At D Leonor

So we took their mini cab for us to get to the big pool. I really thought that Faith could not enjoy it there but thank GOD that the pool is not too deep and beside the big pool, there was actually a kiddie pool too. On the 2nd thought the big pool also have a shallow part.  What we enjoyed there  is the slide, it is long and its round but not that long as Blue Jazz had.

I also like the bucket on the top that when it is full, it will pour so hard on the slide going to the pool. Faith would always exclaimed. “Extreme!”

We definitely got wet but we had so much fun!

We did not spend out there for long, it was almost 5 in the afternoon at that time and we don’t have planned to stay out late. Faith was disappointed since she really like to stay for hours there, but I promised her she can get some carousel rides she agreed with me, only to find out that the rides there were busted.

Till next post.

An Intensity 7.2 Earthquake Hits Bohol and Cebu

We were so shocked with the news that happened this morning; it was past 8 in the morning when Bohol and Cebu experienced a 7.2 intensity earthquake. The earthquake was so strong that many establishments in Cebu and Bohol were collapsed and even the roads were torn up. Davao City also had the 3 intensity earthquake it is not that strong that I didn’t even feel it maybe I was outside handing the garbage to the garbage collector; I mean I have to walk where the garbage truck is waiting for us. My Facebook was flooded by updates of the status in Cebu and Bohol; many netizens are posting some of the pictures of how devastated the earthquake was. I was surprised that the Sto. Nino Church, one of the oldest churches in the Philippines was also affected. Some parts of the building were damaged caused by the strong earthquake.

This was me when my friend and I went to Cebu years ago, and one of our plans for the day is to visit the Sto. Nino Church, I was even amazed of the beauty of the church when I went there. But due to the earthquake that happened this morning, the oldest Church in the Philippines was collapsed.

This picture is not mine, I just snagged this picture from yahoo (ANC- ABS CBN news) when I was browsing for updates in Cebu and Bohol status. It pained me seeing this picture but even so the faith and belief of the Filipino people will not be shaking, I know GOD will always protect his people.

Philvocs monitored the intensity of each provinces that were also affected:

Intensity VII – Tagbilaran, Bohol
Intensity VI – Inigaran, Negros Occidental
Intensity V – Iloilo City; La Carlota, Negros Occidental
Intensity IV – Masbate City; Roxas City; San Jose, Culasi, Antique; Guihulngan, Negros Oriental
Intensity III – Davao City

Stay safe Filipinos, especially those who resides in Bohol and Cebu, I know we can surpass this all. God Bless Philippines.

Emerging Asian Tiger

I am feeling so proud that Philippines is ought to called A Emerging Asian Tiger, this is how the prime minister of Canada describe of the economy of the Philippines, it is definitely rising. As a matter of fact to show the confidence of Canada to the Philippine economy, the Prime Minister Harper pledge to increase the investment to the country during his meeting with our President Ninoy on November 10, 2012.

This is a good news though and I hope this is the answer now of our unemployment issues in the country, and the continual increase of our basic needs including grocery items and gas. Philippines has proven its worth to the world, in fact one of our tourist spots Palawan is a top tourist destination, a well-known travel destination and it is highly recommended by different websites in the Internet. Palawan is also known as the ultimate Archipelago for adventures and is ranked 8th in a list of top 10 travel regions for 2012.
